Warmest congratulations to Samiha Jainab, Natalia Raj, and the entire 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗘 for winning the 1𝑠𝑡 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑧𝑒 in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 hosted by the Royal College of Pathologists, London!

Competing against top entries from doctors, clinicians and scientists worldwide, their research poster, “HISTOSCOPE: AI-Assisted Classification of Breast Cancer Histopathology Images”, impressed the judges with its innovative AI-driven two-step approach, achieving above 80% accuracy in classifying breast tissue images into Normal, Benign, In Situ, and Invasive categories. This award-winning poster will be featured in the Royal College of Pathologists Bulletin Magazine.

Sincere gratitude to their supervisor, Professor Dr. Taufiq Hasan for his invaluable guidance and mentorship throughout this journey. Special thanks also to Dr. Farida Anjuman, Head of the Histopathology Department at National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Dhaka, for her ongoing support in data collection, and to Raiyun Razeen Kabir from BME’18 for his dedicated assistance throughout the project.
