PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In our post-graduate program, we intend to foster world-class laboratory facilities in this department to enable cutting-edge research in different key areas of biomedical engineering. The graduate program of BME has already been approved by the academic council of BUET. The BME postgraduate program offers three degrees, namely: M.Sc. Engg., M. Engg., and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (BME). The program offers a total of 30 courses including the thesis. Courses have specializations in the following areas: Biomedical Imaging & Instrumentation, Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Biomedical Informatics. We have also included some multidisciplinary courses that span various specializations.
