Application of E2 protein nanocage as a nano-carrier of loaded cargo
Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a technical seminar on the application of E2 nanocage at 17th Oct 2016. The talk was delivered by Mr. Mridul Sarker, Graduate student, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The title of his talk was “Application of E2 protein nanocage as a nano-carrier of loaded cargo”. In his talk, he described how they have engineered and characterized the protein case to investigate its mineral loading efficiency and stability. Currently, they are investigating the emulsion and gel stabilization efficiency of E2 nanocage, and hope this study will be very functional in designing emulsion- and gel-based pharmaceutical products for topical application, skin care products, and food products.
